National Book Tokens Gift Cards are the only book gift cards that are sold and accepted in virtually every bookshop in the UK, including Waterstone's, WHSmith (excl in Airport locations), Blackwell, British Bookshops, Easons (Northern Ireland), John Smith, Foyles and local independent bookshops. Sterling National Book Tokens gift vouchers can still be redeemed at any participating bookshop across the UK.

Euro National Book Tokens Gift Vouchers continue to be sold and redeemed across Ireland.

What can National Book Tokens be exchanged for?
National Book Tokens can be exchanged for all kinds of books from the best selling new fiction to reference and school textbooks, they can also be used for maps.

Do National Book Tokens have an expiry date?
There is no expiry date for National Book Tokens gift vouchers. National Book Tokens gift cards will expire after 24 consecutive months of inactivity. To ensure that a Gift Card remains active you either need to use it to purchase a book, have it topped up or do a balance enquiry.

What denominations are National Book Tokens available in?
National Book Tokens Gift Cards are flexible to your needs – any amount from £1 to £250 can be loaded on them which can be spent whenever the recipient wishes. Any remaining balances will remain on the gift card until the holder’s next purchase.

National Book Tokens Gift Vouchers are sold and accepted across Ireland in Irish Euro vouchers, and are available in the following denominations of €2, €5, €10, €20 and €30.

Are there Terms and Conditions of supply?
